Virtual reality, partnerships and intense meetings at WHINN Matchmaking
About 100 participants took part of the official matchmaking event at Week of Health and Innovation and initiated new contacts and potential partnerships. Everything from virtual reality to export plans was laid on the table. Here you can see pictures from the event and sense the intense atmosphere.
There is something intense about a matchmaking event. The room is buzzing of lively talk, the participants is rushing from table to table, and every 15 minutes a bell rings to remind everyone to switch seats and meet new people.
The official matchmaking event at WHINN’16, Week of Health and Innovation, was no exception. The participants had booked meeting beforehand allowing them to point out who was interesting for them to meet. The short meetings was quickly steered in direction of very concrete discussions on projects, technologies and potential collaboration, and quit a few led to actual agreements to continue the dialog after the initial meeting.
Invest in Odense, part of Odense Municipality, helps foreign companies to invest and establish a branch in Odense.
- I wanted to meet companies who wants to establish a headquarter or a division in Odense. I want to continue the dialog with three companies I have meet here today, so this matchmaking event have worked out very well for us, says Lone Krogsbøll, Investment Manager in Invest in Odense.
Among the many companies who took part of the matchmaking event was Life-Partners. They searched for potential business partners.
- We take part of the matchmaking event, because it is a golden opportunity for us to meet many potential business partners in a very short time. We have meet with representatives from Nordic Municipalities and other European companies. The aim was to find out if it would be interesting for both parties to continue the dialog, says Bo Høvedsgaard Iversen, Sales and Marketing Manager in Life-Partners. .
