Significant interest for Danish eHealth at Arab Health 2018 in Dubai

If you think about expanding your business in a growing market then look towards MENA! With more than 100,000 visitors and 4,200 exhibitors from over 150 countries, Arab Health is the most important Health Care exhibition in the MENA region - and a good place to start.

RUFF & CO. Business Innovation participated for the first time in Arab Health 2018, that in size is almost comparable to MEDICA in Düsseldorf. For RUFF & CO. the goal was to offer their expertise in Health Innovation processes and services within organizational innovation and internal entrepreneurship to public and private Health decision makers in the MENA region. Furthermore, to scout for local and regional partnerships to bridge between Nordic solutions and MENA/Asia based buyers.

 - It has been a great experience participating in Arab Health 2018 as a part of the Pavilion of Denmark. We have widened our network of relevant contacts in UAE, Saudi Arabia and several countries in Asia. We have now a firsthand impression of the needs of the healthcare systems in this region and we are working on concrete concepts for collaboration and market introduction to both public and private stakeholders in the MENA region, says Susie A. Ruff, CEO and Executive Advisor of RUFF & CO. Business Innovation.

The needs for and interest in Health innovation and eHealth, including personal healthcare technology are rapidly growing in MENA and Asia. This year's exhibition included a 3-day conference on Connected Health and, for the first time, a small number of companies within eHealth.

More than 40 Nordic companies participated in Arab Health 2018 and an exclusive Nordic Business Partnering and Network event and reception was held with more than 200 participants including decision makers from the local healthcare industry and healthcare providers. As an added value of the joint Nordic event we got access to new contacts with relevant Nordic partners.

Besides its own services, RUFF & CO. represented OpenTeleHealth (OTH) and its state-of-art remote patient monitoring solution. A substantial interest from visitors in the OTH-solution confirmed the significant interest in successful eHealth solutions from abroad that already show a value creating track record.

RUFF & CO. is now working on concrete actions with new leads in both private and public healthcare organizations in United Arab Emirates and in Saudi Arabia.
